Amager Bio is the musical centre of Amager. The building used to be a movie theatre but was 100 per cent renovated and re- opened in February 1997 as one of Copenhagen's biggest concert spots with a capacity of 1000 guests. The programme consists of partly smaller events with local roots and part theatre/opera/dance and big concerts with international names. The sound is exquisite, asis the lighting.
