Nansensgade is a central street very famous for its many designer shops – take the little boutique Kendt as an example. From one end to another you find more than fifteen small shops vending everything from unique clothes over wine to Antique books. The inhabitants of the street take great pride in keeping the milieu special and even post a newspaper! In the middle you find the weird – but very cozy – café Bankeråt with its strange interior consisting of mannequins with animal heads. The serving is friendly, as it is in all the shops of the streets, and for young people seeking the latest trends – vintage as well as new, Nansensgade is a must- see.
