Situated near the shopping street, Strøget, Kronprinsensgade should be more mainstream than it actualy is. Instead this is where you find the world- known Danish design duo Munthe+Simonsen's flagship store as well as Stig P., where international designers are handpicked for display – very expensive, still very luxurious. Kronprinsensgade is also the street where you find the first café of Copenhagen, Café Sommersko, a classic French café with big windows and leather armchairs. Right across the street from Café Sommersko lies Flying A, a fashion shop popular among the young and hip, and with great opportunities for luxury vintage hunters in the basement.
