Being a famous city and a capital of Denmark, Copenhagen bagged the top two position on the Monacle magazine as one of being the Most Livable Cities. Along with other well known cities, it was also dubbed as a world city where emphasis on globalization is their priority. The city’s name was derived from a native name Kopenhagen. The city of Copenhagen is divided into many municipalities. As of January 2008, Copenhagen’s Municipality population is 509, 861.

In the whole of the Scandinavia and Oresund region and not to mention Denmark itself, Copenhagen is considered the hub for science and business. It is noted that in 2005, Copenhagen has the fastest and highest economic growth in Denmark. Due to this, highest wages were paid in this city.
