The collections on Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek centres around antique sculptures and French painters from around the year 1900. On top of that the museum has a large and valuable collection af Danish art from the Danish Golden Age and French paintings from the 19th and 20th century plus sculptures from the same period. The collection of impressionists and the time just before and after this period in France is represented by a small, yet exquisite, collection, counting among it several works by Monet, Sisley, Picasso, Renoir and Degas + a famous self portrait of Cézanne. The represented post impressionists include Van Gogh, Toulouse- Lautrec and Bonnard.
