Arken (”The Ark”) is one of two big museums of modern art in Copenhagen the other one is Louisiana North of Copenhagen. Arken has a fine collection of around 300 pieces with concentration on especially modern, newbreaking Danish and Nordic art. In addition to that the museum has several International as well as National special exhibtions every year. From the cafe of the museum one can enjoy the splendid view of Køge Bay.
